Hakini Mudra, also referred to as the "Brain Power Mudra" or the "Mudra for the Mind." This sacred hand gesture is renowned for its ability to enhance brain function and boost mental clarity.
Hakini Devata
Hakini is mentioned as a devata (deity) in our scriptures, specifically in the Sri Lalita Sahasranama, verse 108: “…hardrannaika rasika Hakini rupa dharini,” signifying her as one who assumes the form of Hakini and delights in offerings of saffron-flavored rice.
For those familiar with the 1000 holy names of Devi in the Sri Lalita Sahasranama, verses 101 to 110 reference the six chakras in our body and their presiding devata. Hakini's form is associated with the Ajna, or Third Eye Chakra, which is the center of imagination and intuition. As the goddess of the third eye, Hakini is symbolized by a two-petal lotus, representing the brain's two hemispheres.
